JILI GAMES Slot Comparison: Reading Two Slots Side by Side
Put the two slots in one table and compare six published fields: grid, lines or ways, volatility label, RTP and whose it is, maximum win, and the feature that drives the big results.
- JILI GAMES Gates of Olympus vs Gates of Olympus 1000
- Both are Pragmatic Play 6x5 scatter-pays slots at a published 96.50% RTP.
- JILI GAMES Golden Empire vs Treasures of Aztec
- Both list up to 32,400 ways.
- JILI GAMES Money Coming vs Crazy 777
- Both are JILI slots on a 3x3 grid with a single payline, a wheel and a low to medium volatility label.
- JILI GAMES Starlight Princess vs Gates of Olympus
- On Pragmatic Play's published figures the two are identical: a 6x5 scatter-pays grid, tumbling reels, multipliers to 500x, free spins on 4+ scatters, high volatility, 96.50% RTP and a 5,000x maximum.
- JILI GAMES The Dog House vs Wolf Gold
- Both are Pragmatic Play 5x3 line slots.
- JILI GAMES Wild Bandito vs Wild Bounty Showdown
- Both are PG Soft high-volatility ways slots.
A slot comparison is a table with two columns and six rows, and the rows are the only part that needs care. This page sets out which six, where each figure comes from, and how to read a gap between two titles without turning it into a forecast. Every figure below is a number a studio published, quoted as the studio gives it, with the studio named.
The method is the same whether the pair is two games from one studio or two studios’ takes on one idea. Pick the pair, fill the six fields, then read the differences one at a time. The six pair pages linked further down do exactly that for Gates of Olympus versus 1000 and five other matchups.
The six fields every slot comparison needs
Start with the same list for both games, in the same order, so the gaps are easy to see.
- Grid: the number of reels and rows, such as 6x5 or 5x3.
- Lines or ways: a fixed count of paylines, a ways-to-win count, or scatter pays with no lines at all.
- Volatility label: the studio’s own word, such as low to medium, medium, high or very high.
- RTP: the percentage, and whose number it is.
- Maximum win: the ceiling as a multiple of the stake.
- Main feature: the mechanic that produces the large results, such as a wheel, a persistent multiplier or sticky wilds.
If a studio publishes nothing for a field, the cell reads Not published. JILI publishes no RTP for any of its titles, so every JILI row in the table below shows exactly that.
Eleven slots on their published figures
The table uses the figures held in this site’s data for the slots covered by the six pairs. RTP figures are the studio’s own number or, for PG Soft, the figure in PG Soft’s own game data.
| Slot | Studio | Grid | Lines or ways | Volatility | RTP | Max win |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gates of Olympus | Pragmatic Play | 6x5 | Scatter pays | High | 96.50% | 5,000x |
| Gates of Olympus 1000 | Pragmatic Play | 6x5 | Scatter pays | Very high | 96.50% | 15,000x |
| Starlight Princess | Pragmatic Play | 6x5 | Scatter pays | High | 96.50% | 5,000x |
| The Dog House | Pragmatic Play | 5x3 | 20 lines | High | 96.51% | 6,750x |
| Wolf Gold | Pragmatic Play | 5x3 | 25 lines | Medium | 96.01% | 2,500x |
| Money Coming | JILI | 3x3 | 1 line | Low to medium | Not published | 10,000x |
| Crazy 777 | JILI | 3x3 | 1 line | Low to medium | Not published | 3,333x |
| Golden Empire | JILI | 6 reels | Up to 32,400 ways | Low to medium | Not published | 2,000x |
| Wild Bandito | PG Soft | 5x4 | 1,024 ways | High | 96.73% | 25,000x |
| Wild Bounty Showdown | PG Soft | 3-4-5-5-4-3 | 3,000 ways | High | 96.75% | 5,000x |
| Treasures of Aztec | PG Soft | 6x5 | Up to 32,400 ways | Medium | 96.71% | Not quoted |
Treasures of Aztec’s maximum is left unquoted on purpose, and the reason is on its pair page. The short version is that two published or modelled figures for it differ by an order of magnitude, so printing either would misstate the other.
Grid, lines and ways: three ways to count the same idea
A payline is a fixed path across the grid, so The Dog House’s 20 lines and Wolf Gold’s 25 lines are the number of paths that can pay. A ways game drops the paths and pays matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left, so Wild Bandito’s 1,024 ways come from its 5x4 grid. A scatter-pays game such as Gates of Olympus has neither: eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid pay.
The count is a description of the grid, not a measure of generosity. Wild Bounty Showdown lists 3,000 ways and Wild Bandito lists 1,024, yet Wild Bandito publishes the larger maximum, 25,000x against 5,000x. If you want the term spelled out, the glossary entry on ways to win meaning walks through the arithmetic.
Megaways-style games add one more wrinkle. Golden Empire’s 32,400 is a ceiling, because the symbol count on each reel changes from spin to spin. It is a different kind of number from a fixed 1,024.
Volatility labels and the session budget they imply
Volatility is how unevenly the return arrives. Wolf Gold is labelled medium and Gates of Olympus 1000 is labelled very high, so for the same stake the second one asks for a larger budget to cover the same number of spins before its big results show up.
Here is a worked example, with round numbers chosen only to show the arithmetic. At a stake of ₱100 a spin, 200 spins cost ₱20,000 in total stakes. A very high label means a meaningful share of the long-run return sits in results far above the stake, so those 200 spins can finish well below the stake total and still be a normal outcome for the design.
Match the label to the money you set aside for a session, then stop at that figure. Nothing in a volatility label predicts the next spin, and the label is the studio’s description of the whole design rather than of any one sitting. Our note on hit frequency meaning covers the separate question of how often any win lands.
RTP: read whose figure it is
RTP is the long-run percentage of stakes a slot returns, and it is a property of the maths measured over a very large number of spins. Pragmatic Play publishes 96.50% for Gates of Olympus, 96.51% for The Dog House and 96.01% for Wolf Gold. PG Soft’s own game data gives 96.73% for Wild Bandito, 96.75% for Wild Bounty Showdown and 96.71% for Treasures of Aztec.
JILI publishes no RTP for Money Coming, Crazy 777 or Golden Empire, so the comparison on that field stops there. Do not fill the cell with a figure from a third-party tracker. Such figures disagree with each other, and none of them is the studio’s.
Some Pragmatic Play titles exist in more than one RTP configuration. Third-party records document 96.50%, 95.51% and 94.50% for Gates of Olympus and for Gates of Olympus 1000, while Pragmatic Play publishes only the first. The number that applies to a given casino is on the game’s own info screen there, so read that screen before you set a budget.
Maximum win: a ceiling, not a typical result
The maximum win is the highest result the studio states for one round, as a multiple of the stake. Wild Bandito’s 25,000x is the highest in this set, and Golden Empire’s 2,000x is the lowest published one. As arithmetic only, a 5,000x ceiling on a ₱100 stake is ₱500,000 and a 15,000x ceiling is ₱1,500,000.
Two games can share a ceiling and play nothing alike. Gates of Olympus and Wild Bounty Showdown both publish 5,000x, one through tumbling multiplier orbs and the other through a diamond grid with free spins that open at 8x. Compare the ceiling together with the feature that reaches it, because the feature decides how the ceiling is approached.
Feature structure: what the main mechanic changes
Features are where a pair of otherwise similar slots separates. The Dog House restricts its 2x and 3x multiplier wilds to reels 2 to 4 and makes them sticky in free spins, while Wolf Gold uses stacked wilds, a money respin and three fixed jackpots. Money Coming and Crazy 777 both route their large results through a wheel, and Treasures of Aztec raises a multiplier by 1 per cascade in the base game and 2 per cascade in free spins.
Ask three things of each feature: what triggers it, whether it resets, and what it multiplies. A persistent multiplier such as Wild Bandito’s free-spins multiplier behaves differently from one that resets after each cascade. The note on free spins as a feature defines the round that most of these mechanics live in.
The six pairs on this site
Each pair page puts two titles in one table and then reads the differences in order.
- Gates of Olympus versus 1000: the same 6x5 engine with a higher multiplier ceiling and a 15,000x maximum.
- Money Coming against Crazy 777: two one-line JILI wheel games, 10,000x against 3,333x.
- Wild Bandito against Wild Bounty Showdown: PG Soft’s 1,024-way and 3,000-way high-volatility titles.
- The Dog House against Wolf Gold: two Pragmatic Play 5x3 slots, 20 lines against 25.
- Starlight Princess beside Gates of Olympus: matching published figures on a shared engine.
- Golden Empire against Treasures of Aztec: two games that both list up to 32,400 ways.
To browse a whole studio’s shelf instead of a pair, open the Pragmatic Play slots shelf or the PG Soft slots shelf. The JILI titles sit in the all JILI games overview.
Problems and fixes
Two slots show different RTP figures on different sites.
Use the studio’s number and name the studio. If the studio publishes none, as JILI does, leave the cell as Not published and read the live value from the game’s own info screen.
One game has a bigger maximum win, so it looks like the better choice.
Check the volatility label and the feature that reaches the ceiling before you read the maximum as an advantage. A higher ceiling usually comes with a higher volatility label, which means a larger session budget and longer gaps.
A way count looks far larger on one game than on another.
Treat the count as a description of the grid. Compare RTP, volatility and maximum win, because a big way count says how many paths are checked and nothing about how much is returned.
The comparison always ends in the same place: the figures describe the design, and your own budget decides how long a session lasts. 21+ only, and set a spending limit before the first spin.

FAQ
How do I compare two slots fairly?
Line up the same six fields for both: grid, lines or ways, volatility label, RTP with its source, maximum win and the main feature. If one studio does not publish a field, write Not published in that cell instead of borrowing a number from somewhere else.
Does a higher RTP mean a slot pays more often?
No. RTP is a long-run percentage of stakes returned, measured over a very large number of spins. How often a slot pays is a separate figure called hit frequency, and a slot can have a high RTP and a low hit frequency.
What does the volatility label tell me?
It tells you how the return is spread. A low label means smaller wins arrive more evenly, and a high or very high label means more of the return sits in rarer, larger results, so a session budget needs to be larger to ride out the gaps.
Is the maximum win something I should expect?
No. It is the ceiling the studio states for a single round, shown as a multiple of the stake. It describes the top of the design, and most rounds finish far below it.
Why do two slots with the same RTP feel different?
Because RTP says nothing about the shape of the return. A slot with tumbling reels and stacking multipliers and a slot with five fixed lines can share one percentage and still spread it very differently.
Where do I find the RTP of the version I am playing?
Open the game's own info or help screen inside the casino you sign up with. Some studios let an operator choose between several RTP configurations, so the figure shown there is the one that applies to that casino.
