Published feesMaya’s cash-in page puts free cash-in via selected partners at PHP 8,000 per month combined and 2 per cent on anything beyond. Less weight attaches to that figure than to the GCash schedule above: it originates on Maya’s own site but was not re-fetched during verification, whereas the GCash schedule was read directly.

Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. What GCash calls its ceiling is a limit on the balance held at a given moment. Though frequently presented as a comparison, putting the two numbers next to each other is meaningless because they measure different things.

These numbers were captured in 2026-09 and do not update. Limits and fees change at the payment provider’s discretion and without notice, so the provider’s own page is the one current source.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — PHP 50,000 a month caps the wallet while PHP 50,000 a day caps purchases InstaPay bank transfers and payments to fellow Maya users are both closed off at this tier
  • Upgraded — You must supply a video selfie, valid ID and verified address. Limits of PHP 100,000 monthly for the wallet and daily for purchases, PHP 20,000 per transaction plus PHP 100,000 per day for Maya-user sends, and PHP 50,000 per day with PHP 100,000 per month for InstaPay out
  • Super Users — Wallet limit of PHP 500,000 monthly plus purchases and sends each limited to PHP 500,000 daily Maya gives no public statement of how an account qualifies for this tier
  • Ultimate Users — A PHP 5,000,000 wallet limit per month, and PHP 5,000,000 per day for purchasing and sending. Maya gives no public statement of how an account qualifies for this tier

The published ceiling of PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users, PHP 500,000 for Super Users, PHP 100,000 at Upgraded and PHP 50,000 at Basic, all per month applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions, read at source, hold no gambling clause, just general prohibitions covering illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches. As a separate product its CREDIT CARD terms restrict ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’, stating that suspension or cancellation of the card follows. Maya was covered as well by BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 in August 2025, so in-app gambling and gaming links were taken out. It matters which product is meant, because what a credit card agreement restricts does not restrict the wallet.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles real-time credit for wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers, against the same banking day for PESONet. This covers the rail alone, not the casino, because an operator can pause a withdrawal for its own review before Maya gets it, and that pause is typically where the waiting time arises.

A per-transaction cap of Sending to another Maya user is limited to PHP 20,000 per transaction, InstaPay transfers out to PHP 50,000 per day, both at the Upgraded tier applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.

Seeing Maya on a casino cashier

  1. Open the cashier of your own casino account while signed in and scroll its full method list.
  2. Treat Maya as available only if that list shows it by name for your account.
  3. Match your registered name with the name on the Maya side before any transfer.
  4. Note the limits and fee printed next to Maya, and save the receipt until the money shows.

Rules written anywhere else are secondary; the method list in front of you settles whether Maya works there.
